As our lives become more fragmented and isolated and more online, we’re losing the skills and wisdom to build collaboratively, create collectively, navigate tension, repair rupture, and remain connected with who we are.

And so we find ourselves moving further away from what we long for most: connection, meaning, value, purpose, beauty, joy.

Overwhelm has become the norm because we each feel like islands, stuck in survival mode. And our therapies and spiritualities are so fixated on the individual as an island that we’ve developed a sense of helplessness when it comes to the issues we all face every day.

Culturally, we avoid grief and so we’ve forgotten how to mourn.

We avoid friction and so we’ve forgotten how to be in relationship and in community.

We bypass discomfort and so we’ve forgotten how to sit in stillness long enough to hear our own thoughts and feel our deep feelings.

This separation causes unnecessary suffering.

We live in a narrative that personal wellbeing is a private thing, separated from the wellness of the world and people around us.

My work is dedicated to transcending this divide between our sense of self and our sense of belonging. And to understand that these don’t have to be at odds with each other.

Erika holds a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology and graduated from the UCLA Honors Program in Political Science/International Relations.

Erika has helped me access a deeper awareness and clarity in my thoughts, needs and actions. All aspects of my life have grown. Our work has helped me rebuild strained relationships with family, progress my career through leadership development, and tap into a more powerful, peaceful and authentic me. In reflection, I really don’t know what direction my life would have taken without the work we’ve done together. Thank you for all that you’ve helped me find along the way in this journey.

Molly P. , Entertainment Executive

It’s hard to encapsulate into words the affect you have had on my life as you’ve helped me though so many things you will never know. Your words and guidance has stuck with me far past our time in the room or total engagement. There’re tons of things that have made it into my everyday life, and lots I still contemplate. You are truly magical and I can’t thank you enough.

My energy at work has changed and my coworkers have noticed. I feel more centered when making decisions and aware when I am not. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t started meeting with you. It’s changed my life and perspective drastically. I am a firm believer that everyone could use your coaching. Thank you!!
